Rebecca Faye Traylor, a beloved wife, sister, and friend, went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2025, at the age of 75 at her residence. Born on October 27, 1949, in Oakland City, Indiana, Rebecca brightened the lives of those around her with her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love.
For over 15 years, Rebecca brought her vibrant spirit and excellent leadership to the role of Manager at the Big Lots store in Vincennes. Her colleagues and customers alike appreciated not just her dedication and hard work, but also her ability to create an enjoyable atmosphere in the store. Rebecca took pride in her job and cherished the friendships she formed there, often sharing stories and laughter with those she encountered.
Beyond her professional life, Rebecca had a passion for crafts, painting, and gardening. Her home was a testament to her love for creativity, filled with beautiful artworks and flourishing plants that she nurtured with care. Her artistic talents were only rivaled by her deep affection for her family. She cherished her husband, Jack Traylor, and their life together, creating a warm and loving environment that was a beacon of joy for those who visited.
Surviving Rebecca is her husband, Jack Traylor; son, Scott Traylor and his fiance Brandy Rominger; daughter, Misty Roby and husband Scott; brother, Robert Rowe; grandchildren, Aiden Roby, Jacob Traylor, Ryley Traylor, Tucker Rominger, Ranza Rominger, and Austin Rominger. Preceding Rebecca in death are her parents, Earl and Dorothy Rowe; sisters, Lenora Rowe and Charlotte Dickerson; and brother, Thomas Rowe.
A visitation for Rebecca will take place at the Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home in Washington, Indiana from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM on Sunday, February 16, 2025. A funeral service will begin at 3:30 PM following visitation with Pastor Matt Merold officiating.
