Washington Catholic Elementary has been awarded a $250 Teaching Innovator Grant from Our Community Foundation to support its Foundations in Art: Inspiring Elementary Creativity program. Art teacher Fawn Mattingly accepted the grant, which aims to introduce students to a variety of artistic mediums beyond standard classroom supplies. The grant was part of a competitive program open to Daviess County educators, with funding provided by the Foundation’s Administrative Fund.
