Eastern Greene High School is searching for a new varsity head football coach for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Thunderbirds, a Class 1A program in the Southwest Conference and compete in Sectional 47. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching in an education-based athletic program and must complete NFHS coaching certification courses required by the IHSAA. A teaching license is preferred, and teaching positions may be available. Responsibilities include overseeing all levels of the football program, mentoring student-athletes, coordinating fundraising efforts, and engaging the community. The new coach will be expected to lead with integrity, discipline, and enthusiasm to build a competitive and respected program.
