
A Tennessee man was arrested Saturday morning following a high-speed pursuit in Perry County. Ulysses M. Patterson, 42, of Johnson City, faces multiple charges, including Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle (Level 6 Felony), Operating While Intoxicated, and driving without ever receiving a license. Indiana State Police say the pursuit began around 11:30 a.m. when Trooper Jon Villanueva attempted to stop Patterson’s Cadillac for speeding on I-64 near Bristow. Patterson allegedly refused to stop, leading troopers on a 10-minute chase that ended in a driveway off State Road 62. mPatterson resisted arrest and had to be physically restrained. Officers reported visible signs of impairment. He was taken to the Perry County Jail. Assisting at the scene were Master Trooper Darryl Terryl, the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, and Ohio Valley Towing.
