Council to consider a proposal from an engineering firm concerning Business 50
The Washington City Council and Board of Public Works and Safety meet for regular meetings tonight.
The city council will introduce ordinances concerning zoning. One ordinane would rezone Troy Road adjoining custom Agri-Builders Property.
In other business; the council will discuss a proposal from VS Engineering concerning Business 50. Two weeks ago the firm proposed studying the cost for improvements to East National Highway throughout town.
The council tonight will also discuss a Pavement Asset Management Plan.
The Board of Public Works will discuss a salary position change in the electric department, open bids on the Piankeshaw Trail Reconstruction project and discuss a backhoe lease for the Wastewater Department.
The meetings start at 6:30 at the Council Chambers on Harned Avenue.
