Delores Ann (Punk) Lynn, 82, of Plainville, IN, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016, at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, IN. She was born in Daviess Co. on July 2, 1933, to Eli and Irene (Wilson) Nail. She became the wife of Robert Lynn on July 8th, 1951 where they had four children.
Delores, better known as “Punk” to her friends and family was a member of the Parkview Christian Church in Plainville. She loved her dog Precious, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed cleaning and was dearly loved by all who knew her.
Survivors include three daughters, Wanda (Larry) Woodruff of Odon, Nancy Lynn of Bloomington, Tammy (Tony) Burton of Plainville, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, two brothers, Norman ‘Tack’ Nail of Bloomfield and Bob Nail of Linton.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, spouse Robert ‘Bob’ Lynn, daughter Debbie Hill, grandson Kevin Woodruff, two brothers Melvin and Richard Bruce Nail and one sister Ellen Wright.
Memorial services will be held at the Parkview Christian Church in Plainville on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at 7:00 PM with Reverend Alfred Helms and Brother Chris Coney officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, prior to the service at the church. Arrangements have been in trusted to James W. Meng, Jr. and Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon.
