Kids in 3rd to 12th grades are invited to a Bicentennial 4H event…
In order to spark interest in 4H, there’ll be a day camp put on by the Bicentennial Spark club later this month. It’s for kids in grades three through 12. The camp is part of the city’s 200th birthday and again an effort to create interest in the many programs and activities available through 4H.
You don’t have to be registered for 4H to attend. There is a $15 fee for non-4H members.
Kids can be dropped off between 7:20 and 8-am on June 30th which is a Thursday. Be sure and pack a sack lunch.
There’ll be games like kickball, storytelling and work on a 4H Bicentennial float for the parade.
To register for the camp, call 812-254-8668. Kids who register before June 15th will receive this year’s 4H t-shirt.
