Several crashes investigated in various parts of the county.
-No injuries in a crash at US 50 and 257 at about 1:30 on Sunday afternoon. Accident reports state a 2001 Subaru was east on 50 approaching the stop light and slowed down as it turned red. The vehicle behind was a 1999 Toyota Sienna. The driver did not notice the light changed and a rear end collision occurred. Both vehicles ended up in the middle of the intersection and then moved off of the road. Again, there were no injuries
-Saturday at 11:10 am in the same location, 50 and 257, an accident happened. Crash reports were not completed; however, police logs show that up to three people may have been injured. Air Evac was dispatched, and extrication equipment was utilized. One person was taken by ambulance to Daviess Community Hospital and another person involved signed a statement of medical release at the scene. Fire units were called in as well as grass was catching fire in the area due to the accident.
-Saturday at 12:24pm, authorities worked a roll over accident on I69 south of the 55 mile marker in Daviess County. It’s believed there were no injuries.
-At 4:25-pm on Saturday there was a one vehicle accident at Gateway Drive on Washington’s east side. A vehicle hit a sign. One person was taken to Daviess Community Hospital.
