Rosemary Wichman

Rosemary Wichman, age 91, of Hobart formerly of Washington, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 5:40 PM at St Mary Medical Center in Hobart .

She was born on December 1, 1924 in Daviess County to James and Anna (Nolan) Hart. She and her husband Bob work together on the Wichman family farm for many years and she was an avid quilter, quilting many quilts for relatives. See was a member of Our Lady of Hope, Daviess County, and St Vincent DePaul Society. She is survived by two daughters, Mary McCoy and Beth Lancaster (Brett Stover); grandchildren, Bob McCoy, Brittany Hausman (Ken), Sasha Williams, Sage Hill, Elijah Stover; great grandchildren, Kenny Williams and Lily Hausman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Wichman of over 60 years, on July 15, 2015, she also was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy ( Ed) Lundergan; four brothers and their spouses, Pius ( June ) Hart, John (Barbara) Hart, Paul (Dorothy) Hart, and Joe (Virginia) Hart; as well as all her husband’s brothers and sisters and their spouses.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Saturday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Paul Ferguson as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary with a wake service at 3:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St Vincent DePaul Society at 815 East Main Street Washington, Indiana 47501 or Daviess County Right to Life P.O. Box 916 Washington, Indiana 47501.
