The Washington City Police Department has released more details about a stolen vehicle case.
-Wednesday, we told you that 38-year-old Krystal Cane of Odon was jailed auto theft and several other charges Tuesday night. Police report that the arrest stemmed from a report at 7:45-pm of a stolen 2005 Orange Honda Element. Sergeant Brandon Humprhries later saw the car on South Meridian and turned to conduct a traffic stop, when Kane, who was driving the vehicle, fled on foot after stopping the car on Hayes Street. After a short foot chase she was taken into custody and charged with auto theft, burglary, resisting law enforcement, driving while suspended and unlawful possession of a syringe. She was also charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
-34-year-old Jodi R. Skaggs of Washington was arrested yesterday for theft. No bond was set.
-A Sullivan man was arrested by Washington Police on Wednesday for resisting law enforcement and possession of a lookalike substance. No bond was set for 37 year old Darrick J. Perkins.
