Kirk Darin Sanders, 44, of Shoals, Indiana passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
He was born January 30, 1972 in Wayne, Michigan to the late Kenneth Eugene and Ila Louise (Lundy) Sanders.
Kirk loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Ila Louise Sanders.
He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Kayla Marie (Salmon) Sanders of Loogootee; sister, Penny Joiner (Ken) of Kentucky; brother, Greg Kent (Misty) Sanders of Shoals; half-brothers Duane Sanders and Keith Sanders, both of Michigan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; uncles, Spencer Lundy of Loogootee and Irvin Lundy of Indianapolis; foster parents, John and Beverly Howell of Shoals; foster sister, Michelle (Brooks) Galloway of French Lick.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Spring Hill Cemetery.
