A crash involving a van on its way to a funeral home while delivering the body of a woman happened in Putnam County. Police say the driver may have been drunk. That occurred on I-70 near the 35-mile marker around 1 yesterday afternoon. Investigators say 49-year-old Matthew Fitzhum of Clinton drove into the median and hit a tree. Police believe alcohol MAY have been a factor. Fitzhum was taken to the hospital – the body of the deceased woman was picked up by another vehicle and eventually delivered to the funeral home.
