Elnora Fire Department Chief Rob Dove says the owner of a home that was on fire last night has requested the state fire marshal investigate. He says a cause had not been determined in the blaze at the 1st Street home in Elnora. No one was at home in the rented house. Firefighters were called out about 8-pm and were on scene until 11 and then called back at midnight and spent another hour on scene.
In a separate incident, several fire departments were called to Country Woodworking in Odon yesterday afternoon. A caller reported the engine shack at the business was on fire. It was said to be a total loss.
There were no injuries in those fires.
