Judith Ruth Cochran, 90, of The Villages, Florida formerly of Crane, IN

Judith Ruth Cochran, 90, of The Villages, Florida passed away surrounded by family and friends on June 13, 2017. 
Ruth was a long time resident of Crane, IN and moved to Florida in 2000.  Born in Isabel, IL to the late Grover and Hazel (Jones) Ogden she later married the late George B. Cochran on July 19, 1945.  She was employed by the Crane Elementary School and subsequently retired from the Naval Weapons Support Center after working there twenty years.  She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling, traveling, watching Orlando Magic & Indiana University basketball games, and loved being with family and friends.
 
She is survived by her sons George W. (Mary) Cochran of The Villages, FL, Rod (Pat) Cochran also of The Villages, FL; five grandchildren, Brian (Karen) Cochran of The Hague, Netherlands; Corey Cochran of Dallas, TX; Wayne (Kerstin) Cochran of Tampa, FL; Cara (Jaimon) Farchione of Tampa, FL and Kimberly (Geoff) Hoesch of Alexandria, VA as well as nine great grandchildren.
 
In addition, she is survived by her sister Irene Wright of Brocton, IL and brother David Ogden of Indian Harbor Beach, FL.  She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
 
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Goodwill Cemetery.
