Ralph “Neal” Williams, 67, of Ferdinand, passed away at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at his home.
He was born December 16, 1949 in Daviess County, Indiana to the late James Delmar Williams and Bertha Mae McGee.
Neal was a 1967 graduate of Loogootee High School. He was previously employed by J & B Drilling, Kimball Piano, Kimball Cherry Street and OFS. He formerly owned a miniature golf course. He enjoyed walking and running. He was a college basketball and NASCAR fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Delmar Williams and Bertha Mae McGee; granddaughter, Breanah Kaye Williams; brother, Graydon Williams; step-father, Lawrence McGee; brother-in-law, Clarence Gingerich.
Neal is survived by his wife, Marla (Kalb) Williams of Ferdinand; daughter, Staci (Andy) DeWitt of Huntingburg; son, Dustin (Cortney) Williams of LowMoor, Iowa; grandchildren, Kira and Kolten DeWitt, Alexandra and Graydon Williams, Emma Delgado and Madison Sprout; sisters, Doris Gingerich of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Naomi (Bill) Gingerich of New Concord, Ohio, Alma (Harry) Shappell of Geronimo, Oklahoma and Marcella (Ed) Brewer of Marion, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center.
