From area law enforcement…

-There was a vehicle accident reported at just before 3 yesterday afternoon at the Dutch Pantry. Authorities were on scene for about an hour.  No injuries in the mishap.
-A vehicle hit a house at Southeast 2nd and Indiana Avenue yesterday. That was called in at 10:45-am.
-A motorist drove away from the Northeast 5th Street location of Chuckles after not paying for $50 in gasoline.
-A Montgomery man was booked into the Daviess County Security Center yesterday on a warrant on charges of theft and fraud.  32-year-old Mathew L. Hall posted bond.
-The Vincennes Police Department reports that 38-year-old David Arthur Jones of Washington was jailed in Knox County last evening on numerous traffic offenses.  Jones was arrested after being stopped in the 1800 block of Hart.  He was cited for for driving while suspended, having a false registration, no proof of insurance and having an expired registration.  He was also found to be wanted on Daviess County a warrant for a parole violation for operating while intoxicated. 
-A traffic stop at Hart and Kimmell Road in Vincennes resulted in the arrest of 56-year-old Dawn Marie Phillips of Bruceville.  She was wanted on a warrant for contempt and was also cited for not having a valid driver’s license.
