Washington Mayor Joe Wellman wants to advise residents of an upcoming culvert replacement project scheduled to start a week from today.
Old US 50 a little over a half-mile from the bypass intersection between the roundabout at North Industrial Park Road and East Side Park Road will be closed. Local traffic will have access to the point of closure. The official detour uses US 50, Old 50 and State Road 257. Two culverts will be replaced by INDOT in the area. Again that work is slated to start a week from today.
