The Petersburg Fire Department has received a sizable grant from WIN Energy. The Friends of the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department Facebook Page is reporting that the department has received over $4800 to be used for buying new pagers for department members. The money comes from the WIN Energy Round Up Program. Operation Round Up® is a voluntary charitable fundraising program for WIN Energy REMC members to have their electric bill rounded up to the next whole dollar in order to benefit and support charitable community organizations.
