A media company that owns Southern Indiana and Southern Illinois newspapers has asked Princeton, Indiana Police to investigate a now former employee.
A Vincennes Sun-Commercial Facebook post is reporting that 24-year-old Advertising Sales Representative Neely Held resigned her position last week when questioned by her superiors about billing discrepancies. Some Paxton Media Group advertisers say they were billed for newspaper ads they did not authorize to buy.
After an internal investigation the media group asked Princeton Police to looking into possible criminal activity.
Paxton Media owns the Sun-Commercial, Princeton Daily Clarion and Mt. Carmel Daily Register.
