Area Arrests & Police Reports

 Arrest reports:
 Chayce Braden Young of Washington was arrested Saturday by Washington Police.  The 21 year old Young was charged with two counts:  count one, Operating While Intoxicated;  and county two, operating while intoxicated involving endangerment.  He was released from the Daviess County Security center after posting bond of $2,000.
22 year old Nathanial Lee Walls of Washington was arrested yesterday by Washington Police and charged with Public Intoxication.  No bond set.
Lyndon A. Goodpastor from Plainville was arrested yesterday by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies.  The 19 year old Good pastor is facing a charge of domestic battery.  No bond set.  
 
Police reports:  7-30-18
Washington Police investigated a property damage accident yesterday evening on Maysville road .  A caller reported a hit and run accident behind the Angle Inn a little before 8 pm.  The caller said his vehicle was struck by a gray jeep liberty and gave the license plate number to police.  He told the officers the jeep was last seen heading toward Feed My Sheep.  Dispatch makes no mention if the suspect was located by police.  
Chuckles convenience store at 201 N State Road 57 reported a a black early 2000’s SUV drove off without paying for $16 worth of gas.  The incident was called in shortly before midnight.  Washington Police responded to the call and were told by the clerk that she was unable to obtain a license plate of the vehicle.  
A fire was reported around 2 am yesterday morning on Oak Grove Road.  Dispatch reported a garage was  fully engulfed.  Details are not available at this time but Washington fire department reports a house, the garage and vehicle did sustain damage.  No injuries were reported.  
Late Saturday night DCS deputies investigated an accident on W 250 N.  Reports indicated a utility pole was hit but when officers arrived the vehicle had left the scene.  Debris and personal items were located on the roadway.  REMC was contacted about the damaged pole.
