An off road accident in Pike County remains under investigation.
It happened on Saturday around 8-pm when conservation officers were called to the scene where 34-eyar-old Stephen Hazlet Junior and 28-year-old Tyler Francis of Evansville were reported to have been riding the trails at Interlake State Recreation Area when the off road vehicle over-corrected after it was driven off of the trail and turned over.
Both were ejected. Hazlet refused medical treatment for some minor head injuries. Francis was taken to St. Mary’s in Evansville for cuts to the face and head injuries. Neither were wearing helmets or safety gear.
