-There was a one vehicle accident at 4:37-am Saturday morning on US 50 near Loogootee. Police reports indicate the driver was taken to the Daviess County Security Center.
-A car/deer crash was investigated on 100-West at 7 Saturday morning.
-Authorities and emergency crews responded to a personal injury accident reported at 2:04-pm Saturday. It happened at Highway 257 South near Belle Terre Drive. Police and rescued and ambulance units were on scene for over 30 minutes.
-An accident with no injuries happened between two vehicles at Old 50 and Maysville Road at 7:12 Saturday night.
-A resident in Cannelburg reported their 2006 White 4 Door Chevy Pickup stolen. It had been last seen Friday night after the owner drove it home. It was reported missing from the driveway at noon on Saturday.
Friday Arrests
30 year old Clayton Moffett of Washington was arrested Friday by Washington Police. Moffett faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a syringe and possession of a schedule 3 controlled substance. No bond has been set.
Terry R. Abbott, 48 years old from Indianapolis was arrested Friday by Washington Police and charged with driving while suspended, conspiracy to deal methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and maintaining a common nuisance. Bond set at $10,000.
Janice A. Rance 35 years old from Petersburg was arrested Friday by Washington Police. Rance is charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, conspiracy to deal meth, visiting a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia. Bond set at $10,000.
Saturday Arrests
Washington Police arrested 48 year old Matthew Dean Sturgeon of Petersburg early Saturday morning. Sturgeon faces charges of operating while intoxicated and operating while intoxicated involving endangerment. No bond has been set.
-Indiana State Police tool 23-year-old Lucas V. Tolbert of Montgomery into custody on Saturday for Resisting Law Enforcement with a vehicle, and two counts of Operating While Intoxicated including with Endangerment. Bond was set at $2000.
-Washington Police arrested 29-year-old Justin C. Duval of Monroe City Saturday for Operating While Intoxicated. Bond was set at $2000.
-34-year-old Audra R. Seals of Loogootee was jailed on Saturday for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance and with Endangerment. Bond was set at $2000. The arrest was made by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
-Saturday, Indiana State Police arrested 46-year-old Antony J. Pottorff of Odon for Resisting Law Enforcement and Driving While Suspended with a Prior. No bond was set.
-A Dale, Indiana man was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department Saturday for Operating While Intoxicated with a Prior and with Endangerment; and for Reckless Driving. Bond was set at $2500 for Steel C. Wolcott.
-State Police booked 27-year-old Francisco Medina Ortega of Washington into the Daviess County Security Center Saturday for Operating While Never Licensed and Resisting Law Enforcement. No bond was set.
Sunday Arrests
-A Terre Haute man was jailed Sunday in Washington for being a Habitual Traffic Offender. 28-eyar-old Mathew D. Brandenburg’s bond was set at $2500 and bond was posted. The arrest was made by Indiana State Police.
-Washington Police charged 37-year-old Rachel C. Goins of Plainville on Sunday with two counts of Operating While Intoxicated including with Endangerment. No bond was set.
-24-year-old Marcus W. Butcher of Loogootee was jailed for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with .15% or more. The arrest was made Sunday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department. No bond was set.
-Washington Police conducted an investigation on Sunday where 27-year-old Danielle N. Wiscaver and 43-year-old Dustin L. Williams were both charged with Possession of Paraphernalia. Wiscaver was also charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance and Williams with Possession of Meth and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
-A Washington woman is facing several possession charges after her Sunday arrest by Washington Police. 26-year-old Mary A. Christenberry was jailed for Possession of Marijuana, Meth, a Schedule II Controlled Substance and for Operating While Never Receiving a License. No bond was set. The arrest came as the result of a traffic stop Sunday night at 6:25-pm on East National Highway near Circle K.
