-Washington Police took an Odon man into custody Wednesday for Possession of Meth and Paraphernalia and for Maintaining a Common Nuisance. 42-year-old John T. Cox was booked into the security center without bond. According to police reports, he was taken into custody about 9 last night after a caller said he had been sitting in a white van in front of the office of Jamestown Square all day.
-An arrest was made in the 10-pm hour last night at 57 liquors in Washington. A subject was reported passed out in a vehicle and upon investigation was charged with two counts of Operating While Intoxicated including with .15% or more and with Endangerment.
-A Cannelburg woman was arrested on warrants for 3 counts of Theft Wednesday. Bond was posted for 37-year-old Shanell D. Dixon.
-James C. Abel, 34 of Terre Haute was picked up on a Failure to Appear warrant Wednesday. Bond was set at $2000.
-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested 26-year-old Kyle A. Haley Wednesday on a Failure to Appear for Driving While Suspended. Bond was set at $2000.
-31-year-old Preston L. Matteson of Washington was served a warrant for Termination of Community Corrections yesterday.
-Police reports say a small child was struck by a vehicle. Police and ambulance were dispatched to Oak Street at 7:30 last night. The report says the child was standing and breathing and there were no signs of blood. Other details were not available.
-There was a car/deer crash near Bethel Church on 50-west. No injuries reported. That happened about 8:20-pm.
-Two vehicles collided in the parking lot of Fast Track at 1:27 yesterday afternoon.
-An accident without injuries was investigated on 800-North in Montgomery at 1:13 pm.
-There was a property damage accident reported on 100-West at 9:41 yesterday morning.
