Police Reports: Accident on interstate, dryer fire in Washington, WPD makes strangulation arrest…

-A one vehicle accident was reported at just before 1-am this morning at Mile Marker 75 on I69.  Reports say it involved an entrapment.  Officials say no one went to the hospital and authorities were on the scene for about an hour.

-Police worked a property damage accident at East 300-North and North 950-East at 11:41 last night.  A jeep hit a mailbox and went into a ditch. There were no injuries.

-Washington Police investigated a Breaking and Entering and the apparent theft of items from Northeast 8th Street residence.  The report was made at just before 9 on Friday morning.  Items were reported taken from a car.  Two cars had been broken into.  Also items were missing from a shed.

-The Washington Fire Department responded briefly to a report of a dryer fire located on 411 Northeast 4th. The call came in at 5:42-pm yesterday.  Firemen were on scene for about 35 minutes.

-Steven Aishe, 33 of Odon was arrested by the Indiana State Police on Friday after an investigation. He’s charged with Burglary and Theft.  No bond was set.

-35-year-old Stephanie S. Neukam of Birdseye was arrested on a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence for Possession of Meth and Invasion of Privacy. That arrest was made by Washington Police.

-Washington Police were called to 401 East National Highway at 5:38pm yesterday for a woman bleeding from the face.  After a brief investigation, police charged 54-year-old Vici E. Thomas of Washington with Strangulation and Domestic Battery. No bond was set.

-21-year-old Paul M. Shartzer of Washington was charged with Possession of Meth and a Syringe. The arrest was made by Washington Police. He was jailed without bond.

-Indiana State Police have charged 19-year-old Jasmine B. Wagler of Washington with Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia.  Bond was posted.
