Norman Eicher, 69, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2017 at his residence.
He was born December 25, 1948 in Daviess County, Indiana to the late Pete and Susie (Miller) Eicher.
Norman was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Susie (Miller) Eicher; 3 brothers, Marvin (Fannie) Eicher, Jerry Eicher, and Lloyd Eicher; 2 sisters, Martha Eicher and infant sister; father-in-law, Raymond (Leota) Yoder.
Norman is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean (Yoder) Eicher; 6 daughters, Ilene (Delmar) Wagler, Carolyn (Aaron) Wagler, Linda (Phillip) Wagler, Leanna (Verlin) Wagler, Venita (Marlin) Graber, Maribeth (Ernest) Graber; 3 sons, Melvin (Joyce) Eicher, Marlin (Lorene) Eicher and Timothy Eicher (special friend, Janet Graber); 31 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Willis (Barbara, deceased) Eicher, Paul (Pauline) Eicher, Phillip (Joanne) Eicher, Joseph (Orpha) Eicher; 5 sisters, Catherine (Jerome) Graber, Mary (Lester) Wagler, Lydia (Ervin) Raber, Ruth (Roman) Wagler, and Naomi (Ben Jr., deceased) Knepp.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Wilma and Norman Eicher residence, 10197 East 350 North, Loogootee, Indiana. Burial will follow in Stoll Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018 beginning at 10:00 a.m. and will continue until the time of service at the family residence.
