A Northern Knox County man has died from injuries suffered last week while working at a Sullivan County mine.
The man’s name was not released.
Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom says it happened at the Bear Run Mine near Pleasantville before 4-pm last Friday. The worker was an equipment operator when the large haul truck he was in caught fire.
The man from Freelandville reportedly died yesterday.
