Several arrested for battery over the weekend

OVERNIGHT ARRESTS

-35-year-old Brandi J. Baker of Washington was arrested for Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe.  Bond was posted.  The arrest made overnight by the Sheriff’s Department.

-48-year-old Stephanie J. Berry of Washington was jailed for Possession of Meth and Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.  NO bond was set.

 SUNDAY ARRESTS

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department charged 48-year-old George D. Peel of Washington Sunday with two counts of Operating While Intoxicated including with More or Equal to .15% and with Endangerment.

-An investigation Sunday resulted in Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury and Disorderly Conduct charges against 24-year-old Carlos A. Teran of San Benito Texas and 31-year-old Regilio Villareal of San Juan Texas.  No bond was set.  Both were jailed after police responded at 9:45pm  to the Holiday Inn. There was a report of a man that had been beaten up.

-Washington Police arrested 2 after investigating a domestic dispute at 3:40-am Sunday morning.  Police reports say someone was yelling for officers at Hardees on East National Highway.  Police say the man allegedly involved in the incident was seen in front of William’s Brothers and ran toward Auto Zone and then by Hamilton’s to the back of the Holiday Inn.  He was caught.   23-year-old Michael E. Sanchez Lamoutee of Washington was arrested for Domestic Battery and Resisting Law Enforcement.  A woman involved in the incident was identified as D’Shara R. Miles 31, of Washington. She was found to be wanted on an Out of County warrant for Failure to Appear.  She was taken into custody.

-Rickey L. Demoss of Washington was picked up on a Writ of Attachment Sunday. Bond for the 43-year-old was set at $10,000.

-37-year-old Tara J. Demoss of Washington was arrested for Failure to Appear.  Bond was set at $100,000.

 SATURDAY ARRESTS

-Steve L. Lewis 45 of Washington was arrested Saturday by city police for Domestic Battery.  No bond was set.  The arrest took place at 8:30-am Saturday at a West Van Trees residence.

-Washington Police picked up 30-year-old Tyler A. Croak of Washington on an Out of county warrant on Saturday.
