You will see lots of emergency vehicles and activity along Business 50 near Boyd’s Trucking at Troy Road Saturday afternoon. It’s all part of a training exercise for police, fire, EMS, hazmat teams, nursing homes, schools and emergency management.

The exercise will consist of a mock transportation incident involving a school bus and tanker truck carrying anhydrous ammonia. The full scale exercise lets participants respond and train as if it were all real.
You’ll see the activity from Noon to 4 tomorrow again in the areas of Troy Road and US 50.
