Joseph D. Graber, 53, of Odon, passed away on November 19, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis from complications while having open heart surgery. He was born on April 13, 1965 in Daviess County, Indiana, to David M. and Corene (Raber) Graber and they both survive. Joseph married Rhoda Graber on September 18, 1986 and she survives. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Joseph is preceded in death by a daughter, Miriam Graber; an infant grandson, Joshua Graber; father-in-law, John J. Graber; two brothers-in-law, John Graber Jr. and Ira Graber; sister-in-law, Fannie Graber; grandparents, Menno and Esther (Gingerich) Graber and Henry and Lydia (Lengacher) Graber.
He is survived by: his parents; his wife; mother-in-law, Lydia Graber; seven children, Katie (Lamar) Raber of Montgomery, Kenneth (Lorrinda) Graber and Marjorie (Stephen) Stoll, both of Odon, Timothy Graber (special friend, Joanna Stoll), Jonathon Graber, Joseph Graber Jr., and Marilyn Graber, all of the home; twelve grandchildren; three brothers, Jonas D. (Ada Marie) Graber, Amos D. (Marlene) Graber, both of Montgomery, Victor D. (Delores) Graber of Sullivan, IL and one sister, Katie (Marvin S.) Wagler of Odon.
Visitation will be held November 20 and 21 at the Simon J Graber Community Building.
Funeral service will be held at 9:00 AM on November 22, 2018 with Home Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in Graber Cemetery in Odon.
