Washington Police, The Sheriff’s Department, Southwest Medical and Air-Evac were dispatched to an accident at 3:45 -pm at East National Highway and 21st Street. Both lanes of the road were closed as crews worked the scene. Official accident reports were not completed, however the daily police log shows the incident involved a semi and a sedan. It’s believed Air Evac transported one person. The truck driver was not injured. Authorities were on scene for over an hour.
