The Indiana State Senate is accepting applications for the 2019 Senate Page Program.
State Senator Eric Bassler of Washington says the program provides a unique experience for kids in grades 6 through 12. Students can visit the statehouse for a day and observe legislative activity.
State Senator Mark Messmer of Jasper adds that students learn the steps taken for a bill to become law.
The Senate Page program starts in January and runs through April.
