The Washington Community School Board is scheduled to have a public hearing and a 2nd preliminary determination hearing at their regular meeting tonight.
As the corporation continues to look at options for a building project, public comment will be taken tonight on what’s been discussed so far. The corporation is looking at building a grade 5 through 8 middle school which could include amenities like a track, football field, practice gym or field house. Last week, the board voted to cap the cost at $38 million.
Another hearing will be held next Monday night at 7-pm.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 6 at the Washington High School Auditorium.
