More information was released yesterday concerning Thursday night’s quadruple fatal in Northern Daviess County.
The Sheriff’s Department released the victims’ names saying that Mathew Grimes, 26 of Evansville was driving a 2013 Chrysler 300 south on County Road 425-East and for an unknown reason failed to yield the right of way at the intersection and pulled into the path of a 2018 Ford F-150 driven by 41-year-old Rodney Page of Plainville who was west on State Road 58.
Grimes, 24-year-old Jessica Krohn, Mathew’s daughter, 5 year old Madelyn Grimes along with 7 year old Isabella Pfingston of Boonville all died as a result of the crash.
Page was taken to Daviess Community Hospital with a head injury.
Alcohol or drugs are believed to NOT have been a factor.
The crash is still being investigated.
