The Washington City Council will hold a regular meeting tonight.
Prior to the start of busienss the Mayor will swear in the city’s newest reserve Police Officer.
On the council’s agenda are final readings of ordinances on city employee salaries and elected officials pay.
The council will also hear from a law firm on a rehabilitation project for Jamestown Square.
After the council meeting, the Board of Public Works and Safety will hear requests for closing Main for the Veteran’s Day Parade in November and closing Northeast 8th for a private party next month.
Also, Midwest Engineers will address the board to talk about the Business 50 project among other projects.
The meetings start at 6:30 at the council chambers on Harned Avenue.
