We are a week out from the Washington Christmas Parade. It’s next Saturday December 7th.
You can still enter the parade which offers cash prices for entries in several categories. There is no fee to enter the parade. Pre-registration is encouraged however, you can just line up at Northeast 7th and Bedford Road next Saturday. The lighted parade will start at 6. The theme is “A Christmas to Remember.” The parade is traditionally the largest one of the year in the county.
For details and to enter you can call the Mayor’s office. However, the office will not be open until Monday.
