The Indiana Department of Natural Resources wants you to “opt outside” on Black Friday.
Instead of curling up in front of the TV or hitting the mall, you can get into Indiana DNR properties for free on Friday, Nov. 29. Included are state parks and forests, reservoirs, fish & wildlife areas, nature preserves, and off-roading areas.
You can also enjoy 20% off meals at state park inns.
Indiana DNR is also offering park-goers the chance to win prizes by submitting Black Friday outdoor photos on Instagram and DNR Facebook using the hashtag #OptsOutsideIN19.
