The City of Washington reminds you there is no parking on Main Street Saturday from 5 to 7. Violaters will be towed at their own expense. That’s due to the downtown lighted Christmas Parade which starts at 6-pm. The theme for the parade is “A Christmas to Remember”. We will broadcast the parade on WAMW.
In Vincennes tonight is the annual Vincennes Community Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. That’s at 6-pm at 2nd and Main in Vincennes. It’s the 2nd year for a themed Christmas tree in Indiana’s 1st City and the theme this year is “Christmas Vacation”. The tree will be coming into downtown today at the top of a station wagon referencing the classic movie “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.”
