An Oaktown woman died in a two vehicle accident on US 41 north of Gauger Road yesterday.
It happened at 12:30-pm when state police say 62-year-old Karen Leah Burr was in a 2011 Impala going south and collided with the rear of a 2017 Freightliner semi going about 10 mph in the driving lane. The semi had mechanical issues. Burr was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver was not injured.
The investigation into the crash continues.
