The Salvation Army of Indiana says Red Kettle donations were down across the state. They have put out the call for year end gifts to fund their 2020 programs.
Divisional Commander of the Salvation Army in Indiana, Bob Webster, calls programs that have been built up across the state amazing. He says they include a world-class summer camp for low income children and the Pathway of Hope Program to help families break the poverty cycle.
A large portion of Salvation Army Budgets are supported by the Red Kettle Campaign in December and donations made in the last two weeks of the year. Year end gifts can be designated to help a single county, community, facility of program.
