Public meetings on the proposed Mid-States Corridor are later this month in Loogootee, Jasper and Bedford.
The corridor would start at Rockport, north of the William Natcher Bridge over the Ohio and run north through Dubois County and linking up with I69 in Pike or Daviess Counties. No one knows the exact route for sure at this point. INDOT however is working on Environmental Impact Studies on the corridor.
Public meetings on the road’s possible routes are set for Feb. 18 at Loogootee High School, Feb. 18 at Bedford Middle School and Feb. 20 at Jasper Middle School. All of the meetings run from 5:30 to 7-pm with a formal presentation at 6-pm.
