(NETWORK INDIANA) While the numbers surrounding the coronavirus continue to grow, there are now fewer new cases in Indiana. In the Tuesday update, the Indiana State Department of Health confirmed 313 new cases of the virus. This brings the current total to 8,527 positive coronavirus cases and 387 deaths. Indiana Health Commissioner Doctor Kris Box says the virus curve is beginning to flatten but warns that it hasn’t peaked. Overall, 46,017 Hoosiers have been tested thus far.
The Indiana stay at home order could look a little different by this weekend. Governor Eric Holcomb said that he is considering some adjustments to the current stay at home order, which is set to expire on Monday, April 20. Governor Holcomb said he’s discussed how to properly “reopen” Indiana with President Donald Trump. Holcomb says any decisions regarding the stay at home order will be made this Friday.
