Mrs. Betty Jean Scott 91, of Washington, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.
Betty was born September 13, 1928 in Griffin, IN to the late Roy Carl and Cora Frances (McIntyre) Carl. She was a 1946 graduate from Griffin High School and later was married to Edward Thomas Scott. Betty was a member of Bethany Christian Church and enjoyed her family, reading, and working various kinds of puzzles.
Betty is survived by; her loving daughters, Nina Marie Dillon (Mark), Linda Sue Sallee (Mike); grandchildren, Aaron Smith (Amie), Melissa Moore (Brian); five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; sisters, Marrjilee Anderson, Loretta Dunlap, and Janice Yancey.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; husband, Edward Thomas Scott; brother, Charles Carl; sister, Delores Polley; and a son-in-law, David Smith.
