The Daviess County Health Department reported at 11:10 this morning that the number of COVID-19 deaths in Daviess County now number 7. They also say that the total number of confirmed cases in Daviess County is 38. They say the cases have been placed in quarantine. As reported earlier, the majority of the cases are at Ketcham Memorial Center nursing home in Odon. Last night officials there reported that 19 residents and 11 staff members had the virus. At the time of the statement from Ketcham Memorial Administer Kathy Wittmer, 8 of the 19 residents were in the hospital. The rest were being quarantined and the 11 staff members were also in quarantine.
