The latest local update from the Daviess County Health Department shows there are 39 COVID-19 cases in Daviess County and there have been 8 deaths. The sick patients are in quarantine.
In Knox County, a patient who was hospitalized with the virus has been released. They are now at home in quarantine and doing well. Another patient was released from quarantine on Tuesday. Another patient is expected to be released today. Knox County Health Officer Dr. Alan Stewart says there are five active quarantined patients from the county’s 18 confirmed cases.
