The Daviess County Health Department announces as of the time of this release, since the first case of COVID-19 was reported in April, the total deaths remain at seventeen (17) and the total confirmed positive cases are at 63 in Daviess County. Of those 63 cases, 38 have fully recovered and nine (9) are currently in quarantine.
Since May 13th (our last reporting date), Daviess County has seen three (3) new positive confirmed cases. Those 3 people are included in the nine (9) that have been placed in quarantine. Those who have had direct contact with all positive cases have been notified by our nursing staff.
