Liquor store robbed Friday night

-The Washington Police Department daily log shows that All Star Liquors at 408 South State Road 57 in Washington was robbed last night. The initial call came in at 11:09-pm. No one was injured in the incident. No other information was released and the investigation is continuing.

-Washington Police investigated a theft report from Wal-Mart. Officials say $178 in merchandise was taken Tuesday. Video surveillance was reviewed. Police log entries show police made contact with a possible suspect Friday.
-A resident on Southwest 5th reported a breaking and entering. The report was made at 4:07pm on Friday. The caller said items had been stolen and destroyed.
-At just before 1-am this morning there was a report of a vehicle hitting a tree at East Maple and Northeast 3rd. No one was around the vehicle at the time police arrived. The vehicle was towed.
ARRESTS
-27-year-old Nicole A. Graber of Elnora was arrested Friday for Operating While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance and with Endangerment. She’s also charged with Possessio of Marijuana, a Schedule 1 Substance, Paraphernalia and a Syringe. Bond was set at $2500. The arrest was made by Indiana State Police.
-Williams J. Vaughan of Washington was arrested Friday by Washington Police. The 46-year-old is charged with Disorderly Conduct. Bond was posted.
-The Knox County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man on several charges overnight. 39-year-old Curtis J. Mikiska was booked into the Knox County Jail at 2:34-am. He’s charged with dealing and possessing meth, burglary, theft, and theft of a firearm.
