Area native loses congressional bid

       A former local attorney from Daviess County was defeated last night in his bid for Congress in the Democratic Primary in Georgia. 
       Dan Steiner was running for the 12^th District seat to go against the Republican incumbent in the General Election in November. He lost to Liz Johnson who will face Rick Allen. Allen is seeking a 4^th term.  The 12^th District  includes 19 Georgia Counties from Augusta South toward Savannah.
