The Dubois and Knox County Health Departments released their latest reports on the COVID-19 virus in those Counties.
Dubois County reported 25 new positive cases of te virus, and one new virus related death in Dubois County. That brings the number of deaths due to the virus in the county to seven. The total number of positive cases diagnosed in Dubois County is now 344.
In Knox County, the Knox County Health Department reported one new diagnosed case of COVID-19 which bring that county’s total of diagnosed cases to 72, Nine patients remain under quarantine in Knox County. Knox County reports no new COVID-19 related deaths.
The Daviess County Health Department released their last report on Friday, In that press release, the Daviess County Health Department said that two new cases of COVID-19 had been diagnosed in the County, bringing the total of diagnosed cases to 154.
In their report, Dubois County health officials say the increase in COVID-19 cases in the community demonstrates the importance of wearing a cloth face covering when in public, maintaining social distancing, washing hands frequently, and staying home if you are feeling ill.
