An additional case of COVID-19 was diagnosed yesterday in Knox County. That brings the counties total to 81 cases diagnosed. 14 individuals are currently in quarantine with another 3 recovering in the hospital. No additional deaths have been reported in Knox County at this time.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported 927 new positive cases of COVID-19 yesterday. That’s the second highest daily total since the pandemic began. The ISDH also announced an additional two confirmed deaths from COVID-19, bringing Indiana’s total to 2,629. Those deaths were reported to the ISDH between July 16 and July 18.
New numbers show 626,880 people have been tested in Indiana with 9.2% of those tests coming back positive. The total number of tests is up from 614,455 on Saturday.
