There’s a new record for coronavirus cases in Indiana, and it’s not good. On Thursday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 1,051 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the state’s positive total to 71,015. Six more Hoosiers have died from coronavirus, bringing the total number of people who’ve died because of the virus to 2,811. So far, 804,345 Hoosiers have been tested for coronavirus, and the state’s positive rate sits at 8.8-percent.
